It may seem like publisher Electronic Arts is giving all the MMORPG love to PCs lately with Mythic's Warhammer Online and the upcoming BioWare MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic. Take a moment to pity our brothers and sisters in Germany and Japan--they probably won't be getting Gears of War 2. “We can confirm that Gears of War 2 will not be available in Germany or Japan indefinitely," a Microsoft spokesperson told Edge-Online. ea copyright infringement suit
Third-party megapublisher Electronic Arts was sued for copyright infringement involving the company's NCAA sports games series. The publisher allegedly used an official University of Las Vegas team anthem without composer Gerald Willis's permission. Willis, who works as a high school music teacher, now demands $1.5 million USD from EA.
