Angelina Jolie Gamer Wii fitness
Angelina Jolie has been using her children's video games to lose weight. The 33-year-old actress - who raises six kids with partner Brad Pitt - has been burning off her post-pregnancy pounds with a nintendo Wii console, which requires players to use their body to control their games' characters. A source said: "Angelina's kids were convincing her that video games were more than just fun. They explained to her you can do anything from practice math to learn to read music and exercise."'Wanted'... Read More

Skate 2 Review Preview
From the main menu, Party Play will get you into the multiplayer zone. We've said it before, but allow us to reiterate that EA has done a fantastic job with the menus in Skate It. This is really stylish stuff. The soundtrack is also excellent, featuring a variety of indie rock, hip-hop, and metal bands. Each player can select their own created skater, although we should note that loading each profile took a rather long time.

Dragon Quest IV Chapters of the Chosen Nintendo DS
Remaking videogames is hardly an exact science; if it were, we'd have fewer cynically clueless rehashes and more Bionic Commando: Rearmeds and Metroid: Zero Missions. A great remake requires a developer who understands both the good and bad aspects of the original work. Dated or broken game design elements need to be discarded or reworked to complement the strengths. Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen is a remake done right, and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving game. The or... Read More

Wario Land: The Shake Dimension AU Review Wii
If, five years ago, you'd told me that I'd be playing a game that involved a fat guy shaking sacks and doing elaborate bar-swinging routines, I'd tell you to lay off the purple Kool-Aid. But alas, here we are. The Wii has opened Pandora's Box of gameplay quirkiness -- and the latest result is a curiously traditional Wario romp with a few key points of distinction and merit.

If you're old enough to cast your mind back to 1994, you might recall that Wario got his start as the villain in... Read More

NHL 2K9 Review Wii
I've been dying to see an NHL franchise - be it from 2K, or EA - make the first step onto Wii. Despite the slightly less enthusiastic outlook on the sport compared to things like the NFL or MLB by the general public, NHL has always found one hell of a home in videogames, and for those that enjoy the sport outside of the virtual world, there are few things more entertaining than sitting down with a buddy, checking the ever-loving crap out of him, and hitting a top-shelf slapshot late in the third...
