Star Wars The Force Unleashed Walkthrough prt1
Force Powers - Force Push: Blasts enemies with a powerful wave of Force energy. It's also used for moving objects and opening locked doors. It's activated with the B button.
- Force Grip: Grabs enemies with Force energy and allows the apprentice to throw them around. RT grasps the highlighted item and LS send them flying in the direction of your choice.
- Force Lightning: Shocks enemies with charged Force energy. It temporarily stuns a target and causes low levels of damage. It's activated with the Y buttons.
- Force Repulse: Sends out a shockwave of Force energy in all directions. It sends enemies and objects flying away. Press LT and B to activate it.
- Force Lightsaber Throw: Throws the lightsaber in a spinning motion toward a target. The saber automatically returns to your hand. Hold the LT button while tapping the X button.
- Force Lightning Shield: Reduces the amount of damage taken by creating a bubble of Force energy around you. Activate it by holding the LT button and pressing the Y button.
Force Talents - Fortitude: Increases the maximum health bar of the apprentice. Level this up quickly. It's helpful in the latter stages of the game.
- Force Focus: Increases the maximum Force energy bar of the apprentice. If you like to use lots of Force abilities over the lightsaber, level this talent up early into the game.
- Force Affinity: Increases the speed at which you recover force energy. It's helpful if you like to fire off several force attacks at once.
- Vitality: Increases the amount of health regained by killing enemies. This keeps the health bar full during large group battles.
- Resilience: Reduces the amount of damage taken from enemies. Level this talent up early in the game to keep the apprentice alive longer.
- Battle Meditation: Reduces the amount of time to charge your Force powers. This relates to charging up an attack like Force Push. It's not necessary to pick this talent up until the final stages.
- Saber Mastery: Increases the amount of damage dealt with the lightsaber. If you rely on the saber for the majority of attacks, level this talent up quickly.
- Defense Mastery: Increases the ability to deflect and reflect blaster fire. This can be helpful in providing a low level of defense from stormtroopers, but it's not incredibly useful.
- Combo Mastery: Decreases the amount of Force energy used for Force combos. If you rely on combos to finish off large enemies or bosses, level this talent up around the middle of the game.
Kashyyyk Prologue CUTSCENE: A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...The galaxy is on the brink of total darkness. The Galactic Empire has overthrown the Old Republic. The Jedi Knights have been all but destroyed. The Emperor's spies have located a lone Jedi on the Wookie home world. Darth Vader has been sent to destroy him. The scene shifts to large Imperial Cruisers hovering over Kashyyyk. Darth Vader lands his craft on the surface and tosses an Imperial commander to the side before looking for the lone Jedi. - Take a moment to get acclimated to the control scheme. LS moves the character, A jumps and RS rotates the camera. Move forward along the dirt path and across the bridge.
- Press X to pull out the lightsaber. X also attacks with the saber. RB directs blaster fire back to the original target. Hold LB to block and bring up a few special attacks accessed by the buttons.
- Press B to use Force Push on the Wookies. Hold B to charge up the Force Push attack and break apart the large wooden barrier. Vader can also hold RT when targeting an enemy and throw them in any direction by flicking LS.
- Move up the hill and kill the four Wookies with force attacks. Follow the narrow path and watch out for Wookies that leap out behind Vader. When reaching the large, partially covered wooden bridge, charge up a large force push attack to destroy the entire bridge.
- Move over the bridge and walk up the ramp on the right. Kill the four Wookies with the force toss and hop on the elevator. Use another charged Force Push to take out the Wookies charging on the bridge.
- Watch a Tie fighter crash through one of the wooden bridges and take the long way around. The Wookies infinitely spawn along the bridge. Just continue moving forward to halt the spawns. Use Force Push to get rid of the pesky Wookies.

- CUTSCENE: The Rogue Jedi appears after Vader reaches ground again. The Jedi tries a mind trick and commands Vader to leave the planet. Vader calls his bluff and the battle begins.
- Start by jumping (A) and press X to drive the lightsaber to the ground. This should knock the Jedi into the air. Start hacking away with the lightsaber.
- If you get into a lightsaber lock, tap X to win. Continue using Force Push and Force Grip over and over. Move in to attack with the lightsaber when the Jedi falls to the ground.
- Occasionally the Jedi tries to pull a Tie Fighter out of the sky and crash it on Vader's head. Just stick close to the Jedi to avoid taking damage. After the Jedi's health falls to zero, be ready for a quick action button sequence to finish off the Jedi.
CUTSCENE: Vader tortures the Jedi for information on his master. A small boy approaches and uses the force to steal Vader's saber. The Rogue Jedi is his father. Vader kills the Jedi and protects the boy from Imperial fire. The scene shifts to many years later. The boy has grown up and is now Lord Vader's apprentice. Vader orders him to destroy an outpost at Nar Shaddaa. The apprentice leaves and gets attacked by what looks like Ben Kenobi. It turns out to be a training robot. The apprentice continues on to his ship and spots a female pilot working on his ship. She's the new pilot for his missions. Lord Vader killed the last one. Tie Fighter Factory - The training module is easy to complete. Simply follow the on-screen instructions and use Force Grip to move the object around. LS changes the direction and RS alters the vertical pitch.
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice and the new pilot leaves with the ship. The robot charges up and gives them the briefing on General Coda, a Jedi that was against using clones in the galactic war. The scene shifts to Coda preparing the troops for the incoming dark Jedi. He's setting up a trap. Coda mentions something about bringing the dark Jedi out of hiding.
- Run through the empty hall and use Force Push to open the door. Kill the two stormtroopers on the walkway with the lightsaber and race to the opposite side to pick up red glowing, Sith holocron at the end of the walkway.
- TIP: Holocrons grant the dark Jedi large amount of power for a limited time. It's basically and unlimited amount of force power.
- Jump to the lower level and start unleashing Force attacks. Kill all the stormtroopers and rebel army soldiers in front of the door. Use Force Grip (RT) to slide the locks on the door in the direction the arrows point.
- HOLOCRON: Before leaving, double jump to the walkway on the opposite side of the room to pick up a Jedi holocron. These can contain Force points, lightsaber crystals or new costumes. (1/15)
- HOLOCRON: Double jump up to the tail end of the crashed ship in the room and collect the Yellow Light Saber Crystal on the walkway. (2/15)
- Run along the new hallway and kill the militia along the path. Try to knock them down with Force Push quickly. Their blaster fire is painful. When they try to close off the path, use Force Push to open the metal door.
- HOLOCRON: Look for a small room on the right with another 10,000 force points. (3/15)
- Continue along the hall and kill the four stormtroopers that appear on the left. Use Force Push to open the door and move onto the walkway. Kill the militia on the right with the explosive containers littered on the walkway.
- TIP: At some point in this level, Force points become available. The game prompts you about it. Press Back to enter the sub-menu and select Force Upgrades. Go ahead and upgrade Force Push with the single point. Upgrade a talent and combo of your choice as well.
- Move along the walkway and kill the next ground of soldiers by tossing nearby explosive objects at them. Use Force Push to open the door on the left. Kill the soldiers with lightsaber attacks.
- HOLOCRON: Before moving onto the lift, exit to the door on the opposite side and pick up the Force Talent Sphere behind some crates. (4/15)
- Ride up the lift and charge up a Force Push. Kill the militia on the turret and use the explosive items in the room to kill the remaining men.
- HOLOCRON: Exit to the right of the lift and look for a Force Combo Sphere at the end of a large walkway. (5/15)
- Exit on the opposite side of the room and follow the walkway to the left. Kill the militia and stormtroopers with the clutter along the walkway. Double jump over a broken piece of walkway on the left and continue following the path.
- HOLOCRON: When the Militia troopers pop out of a side room, look for 10,000 force points on the right. (6/15)
- Continue along the path and look for a sliding door at the end. Enter the new room and scramble to the middle to locate a Sith holocron. This increases damage temporarily.
- Race around the room and kill the guards. Use LB to charge toward enemy soldiers. Enter the next room and use Force Grip on the crates on the left to kill the Elite Militia along the hallway.
- Race through the halls and kill the packs of militia along the way. Look for another Sith holocron along the perimeter of one room.
- When reaching the dead end, use the force to flip down the slat on the opposite wall. Use force grip to pull the large piping out of the wall and use it to double jump to the exit.
- Take out the AT-AT by jumping up in the air and launching into a flurry of quick attacks. Be ready for a quick action button sequence to finish it off. Race around and kill the remaining Elite Militia with Force attacks. Ride up the Tie Fighter wing elevators and kill the Militia on the walkway as well.
- HOLOCRON: There are two holocrons on the upper level of this room. Hop back on the Tie Fighter wing and ride up to the third level to pick up 20,000 force points. (7/15), (8/15)
- HOLOCRON: Move into the second assembly room and look for two more holocrons on the upper level. You have to use the Force to move spare wing parts to create a path to the 10,000 force points and the Rubat Power Crystal. Use double jump to reach both of them. (9/15), (10/15)
- Fight Militia along the hallway with lightsaber attacks and move to the lift. Ride up and start battling a large group of militia in an assembly line room. Use the red Sith holocron in the middle of the room for an extra boost.
- HOLOCRON: Look along the left side of the room from the entrance. There is a small unmarked hallway to the left of the second group of lasers. There is 10,000 Force Points inside. (11/15)
- HOLOCRON: Move to the opposite end of the room and look for a small room on the left. There is a Force Power Sphere and 10,000 force points in the room. One is in the center of the white glowing tubes and the second is in a small hallway nearby. (12/15), (13/15)
- Remove the power supply in the room with the two Jedi holocrons using Force Grip. Move into the next room and assault the small group of militia.
- HOLOCRON: Similar to the previous room, there is an unmarked room on the left side. Explore it to find 10,000 Force Points. There's also 10,000 more Force points at the end of the large room on the right. (14/15), (15/15)
